Cortland Deerfield Station is a gated 2019 community of studio, one- and two-bedroom apartments in five-story buildings with elevators, at 67 SW 12th Avenue in Deerfield Beach, a few minutes' walk from the Deerfield Beach Tri-Rail and Amtrak station. Owned and managed by Cortland.
The number that decides it is 80: two cats or dogs per home, each up to 80 lb. Their FAQ adds that service animals are not held to the weight limit.
Breeds: they do not accept Rottweiler, Chow, Presa Canario, Doberman, Akita, Pit Bull (also listed as American Staffordshire Terrier, Staffordshire Bull Terrier or Pit Bull Terrier), Cane Corso or any Mastiff breed, mixes included, and the list says "including but not limited to".
Money: a one-time pet fee of $400 per pet, due before move-in, and $25 a month per pet. Cats and dogs must be registered with the community.
They say plainly that there is no dog park on site. The one their neighborhood page points to is Woofing Waters at Quiet Waters Park, about three miles west, a county dog park with its own fee. Confirm current terms with the leasing office.
