Terms of Service
Please read before confirming a booking. These Terms contain payment and cancellation rules, emergency-care authority, acknowledgments of risks inherent in animal care, an indemnity and limitations of liability. Dogoboca performs in-person services only in approved Florida service areas.
1. Agreement and eligibility
These Terms are an agreement between the person using or purchasing a service (“you”) and Dogoboca (“Dogoboca,” “we,” “us”). You must be at least 18 and legally able to enter an agreement. If you act for another owner, household or business, you represent that you have authority to bind them and remain responsible for the information you give.
Signing in or creating an account does not itself accept the pet-care provisions in these Terms. You accept the current Terms when you check the Terms box and confirm an online booking, or expressly accept them during a staff or phone booking process after receiving an opportunity to review them. A person who only browses the public site is subject to the website-use provisions but is not thereby purchasing pet care. Our Dog Photography & Gallery Policy is incorporated for photo participation and use. The Privacy Policy explains data practices and the Cookie Policy explains browser technologies.

2. Services and service area
Dogoboca may offer dog walking, daycare, boarding, in-home sitting, drop-in care, outings, cat and exotic-pet visits, transportation, training and dog-only photography. The service description and written confirmation control what is included in a particular booking. Availability, personnel, locations and service types may change.
In-person pet-care services and dog-photo sessions are performed only in the approved Florida ZIP codes or locations shown on the site, and prepaid service credits are redeemable only for eligible services in that area. The website, account, gallery and eligible photo-claim/download features may be used elsewhere, but site access is not an offer to perform in-person services outside the United States. Photography at a park is subject to park rules, capacity and any location approval or permit required for the session.
Dogoboca is not a veterinary practice. Training and care observations are not veterinary, medical or legal advice, and no particular behavioral, health or training result is guaranteed.
3. Accounts and communications
Sign-in uses a one-time code sent to the registered email. Keep that mailbox and your device secure, provide accurate information, and notify us promptly of suspected unauthorized use. We may suspend an account to investigate fraud, safety concerns, misuse, nonpayment or a Terms violation. You may request closure, subject to records we must or reasonably need to retain.
You agree to receive transactional email, calls or person-to-person texts reasonably needed for an inquiry, account, booking, emergency or gallery. Marketing preferences are separate. We do not treat a phone number as consent to automated telemarketing; any such consent will be requested separately and will not be a condition of purchase.
4. Client responsibilities
You agree to:
- be the owner or have the owner’s authority to arrange care and make the authorizations in these Terms;
- give complete, current information about each animal, including illness, medication, allergies, escape tendencies, aggression, bite history, triggers and handling limits;
- maintain legally required licences and vaccinations appropriate for the animal and service, plus reasonable parasite prevention;
- provide safe equipment, sufficient food/medication/supplies, a reachable contact, an emergency contact and veterinary details;
- provide a reasonably safe property, disclose cameras and known hazards, and secure valuables and persons or animals outside the agreed care;
- follow leash, park, building and animal-control rules; and
- not request unlawful, unsafe or veterinary-only conduct.
You are responsible for losses reasonably caused by materially false, incomplete or late information, subject to the limits and fault allocation required by law.
5. Meet & greet and property access
A new client may be asked to complete a free meet & greet before care is confirmed. You authorize Dogoboca and the assigned worker to enter the agreed areas during the booking window using the access method you provide. Do not send access codes through an unnecessary free-text field if a safer agreed method is available, and promptly rotate codes after they are no longer needed.
If access fails, the assigned worker records the time of arrival and, where possible, a photograph of the entrance. Our office — not the worker — then attempts to reach you. The worker waits at least 20 minutes, counted from the later of the recorded arrival and the start of the booked arrival window, and longer if you tell us you are on the way.
A visit may be treated as performed and charged in full — the service price and any add-ons, excluding tips — when the worker traveled, reserved the slot, recorded the arrival, waited the period above, at least one attempt to contact you was made, and entry was still impossible because instructions, keys, codes or authorized access supplied by the client were missing or did not work. This does not apply when access failed because of Dogoboca’s own error, including access instructions we failed to collect from you. Your account shows the recorded arrival time, the photograph and every contact attempt, and lets you dispute the charge in one tap; where our record is weak and you dispute it, the charge is reversed.
When practical, provide a temporary or rotating access code rather than a permanent alarm or building credential, and replace it after the authorized service period. You may ask us to update or redact an instruction that is no longer needed, subject to any record we must preserve for an active dispute.
6. Requests, confirmation and changes
A submitted request is not confirmed until Dogoboca accepts it and provides the service, date/window and price. Arrival windows are estimates, not exact appointments. Traffic, weather, emergencies and the needs of another animal can move a visit within its window. Tell us promptly of changes; a requested change is effective only when confirmed.
We may substitute a qualified worker when reasonably necessary. If a material substitution or service change is unacceptable, contact us promptly and we will try to reschedule or apply the cancellation rule fairly in light of the circumstances.
7. Cancellations
Unless a different written rule is shown before confirmation, you may cancel without a fee until 24 hours before the start of the booked arrival window. A client cancellation inside that period may be charged 50% of the confirmed booking price because the capacity was reserved. No-show and client-caused access failure may be treated as late cancellations. An active booking may be rescheduled online without a rescheduling fee until 48 hours before the start of the booked arrival window, subject to availability; its cancellation deadline is then recalculated from the new time. Inside that period the visit can no longer be moved online, because the reserved capacity can no longer be resold — contact us and we will help where we can. Overnight, holiday, recurring or special-event bookings may have a different disclosed rule accepted before confirmation.
If Dogoboca cancels before performing the service, you will not be charged for the unperformed portion. Card or cash amounts already collected for that portion are returned through the original payment method, and credits spent on it are restored, unless we agree with you to another lawful remedy.
8. Prices, payment, credits and tips
Displayed prices may be starting prices. The price shown at final confirmation, including selected duration, animals, add-ons, discounts and applicable taxes or fees, controls. You authorize Dogoboca and Stripe to store a payment method token and charge the confirmed amount according to the displayed schedule, including a properly disclosed late-cancellation fee. Dogoboca does not receive the full card number or security code.
Raise a billing issue promptly so we can investigate, but nothing here waives a nonwaivable card-network or legal right. Purchased prepaid credits do not expire, carry no dormancy or other post-sale fee, and are not forfeited solely because an online account is closed. Contact us with a purchase receipt or other reasonable verification, and we will arrange continued access to any remaining purchased balance. Credits apply only as described when sold, are not cash, cannot be transferred without our written approval and are refundable only where required by law or expressly promised. Promotional or complimentary credits may have separately disclosed lawful terms. Tips are voluntary and intended for the worker who performed the service.
9. Animal care, risks and emergencies
Animals can act unpredictably even with careful handling. You acknowledge ordinary risks of the selected service, including interaction with animals and people, escape, bites, scratches, falls, traffic, weather, heat, allergens, communicable illness and aggravation of a disclosed or undisclosed condition. Dogoboca will use reasonable care appropriate to the service; this risk acknowledgment does not release liability that applicable law does not allow us to limit.
If we reasonably believe urgent care is needed and cannot timely reach you or your emergency contact, you authorize Dogoboca to obtain veterinary or emergency transport and care we reasonably believe is necessary. You remain responsible for those third-party costs unless they resulted from Dogoboca’s negligence or other fault for which law makes us responsible. We may rely on the medical, medication and veterinary instructions you supplied.
10. Safety and refusal of service
We may decline, pause or end a service when reasonably necessary for safety, animal welfare, unlawful conditions, contagious illness, undisclosed aggression, hazardous property, severe weather, abusive conduct, repeated nonpayment or a material Terms violation. We will secure the animal as safely as the circumstances allow and attempt to notify you. Charges will reflect work performed and the applicable cancellation rule, adjusted where the interruption was Dogoboca’s fault.
11. Free dog photography
Free sessions intentionally photograph dogs only. Participation, public dog-only previews, claims, personal-use licences, copyright, prohibited uses and takedown rights are governed by the Dog Photography & Gallery Policy. A dog-only public-park image may appear in the gallery or archive even when no handler is identified. If the photographer invites someone to pose or present a dog or asks for an email, the photographer gives a brief courtesy notice and the person may decline. Dog-only portraits made after that notice may also appear in ordinary Dogoboca social posts. This is not a general marketing subscription. Paid-ad creative, merchandise, stock licensing or unrelated third-party licensing requires separate written permission.
12. Website and intellectual property
The site, branding, copy, design, software and photo archive are owned by or licensed to Dogoboca and protected by law. Except for the personal photo licence expressly granted in the Photo Policy, you may use the site only for personal interaction with Dogoboca. You may not scrape, bulk-download, reverse engineer, bypass access controls, probe security, submit malicious code, impersonate another person, train an automated model on the archive, or commercially exploit site content.
Information you voluntarily submit remains yours. You give Dogoboca the limited right to host, copy, transmit and use it as reasonably needed to provide the requested feature, moderate safety and comply with law. Do not submit material you lack the right to provide.
13. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
Except for an express promise in a confirmed booking and to the fullest extent permitted by law, the website and free photography program are provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, a particular sitter or photo, successful photo matching, behavioral outcomes, weather, third-party systems or that every image will remain archived indefinitely.
WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR LOSS CAUSED BY AN ANIMAL’S INHERENT OR UNDISCLOSED BEHAVIOR OR CONDITION, A CLIENT’S INACCURATE INSTRUCTIONS, A PRE-EXISTING DEFECT OR HAZARD, OR A THIRD PARTY OUTSIDE OUR REASONABLE CONTROL, EXCEPT TO THE EXTENT THE LOSS WAS CAUSED BY OUR OWN LEGALLY ACTIONABLE CONDUCT.
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, EXEMPLARY, PUNITIVE OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, OR LOST PROFITS OR DATA. OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY ARISING FROM A PAID BOOKING WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF THE AMOUNT PAID FOR THE AFFECTED BOOKING OR $500; LIABILITY ARISING SOLELY FROM A FREE PHOTO SESSION OR WEBSITE USE WILL NOT EXCEED $100. THESE LIMITS DO NOT APPLY TO GROSS NEGLIGENCE, WILLFUL MISCONDUCT, FRAUD, OR LIABILITY THAT CANNOT LAWFULLY BE DISCLAIMED OR LIMITED. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW CERTAIN LIMITS, SO THEY APPLY ONLY TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED.
14. Indemnity
To the extent permitted by law, you will defend, indemnify and hold Dogoboca and its personnel harmless from a third-party claim, damage, fine or reasonable cost arising from your material breach of these Terms, lack of authority over an animal or submitted material, materially false or omitted safety information, unlawful instruction, or your animal’s conduct, except to the extent caused by the indemnitee’s negligence, willful misconduct or other fault for which indemnity may not lawfully be required. We will give reasonable notice and allow reasonable participation in the defense.
15. Events beyond control
Neither party is liable for delay or failure caused by events beyond reasonable control, including hurricanes, evacuation orders, severe weather, fire, utility or network failure, epidemic, government order, road closure or sudden worker incapacity. Payment obligations already incurred remain due. We will use reasonable efforts to notify you, protect an animal in our custody and reschedule or refund any unperformed service as appropriate.
16. Florida law and disputes
Florida law governs these Terms without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Before filing a claim, each party should send written notice describing the issue and requested resolution and allow 30 days for a good-faith response. This does not prevent either party from seeking urgent injunctive relief, filing an eligible small-claims matter or meeting a legal deadline.
Unless applicable law requires otherwise, state and federal courts located in Palm Beach County, Florida have exclusive jurisdiction, and each party consents to that venue.
17. Changes and general terms
The version accepted at confirmation governs that booking. We may update future Terms by posting a new date and version; a material change will be presented before it applies to a new booking or otherwise as law requires. If a provision is unenforceable, it is limited to the minimum extent necessary and the rest remains effective. No waiver is continuing. You may not transfer a booking or these Terms without consent; Dogoboca may assign them with the business or relevant assets, subject to law. These Terms, the confirmed booking and incorporated Photo Policy are the entire agreement about their subject matter.
