Bell at Broken Sound

Gated lakeside apartments and townhomes with a fenced bark park; the last pet policy they published allowed two pets of up to 75 pounds each, before a 2025 sale.

Why we send people here

Bell at Broken Sound is a gated community of 270 homes, 180 apartments and 90 three-story townhouses, finished in 2018 and 2019 on Broken Sound Boulevard NW, close to Yamato Road, I-95 and the Boca Raton Tri-Rail station. Some homes have private garages. The website still runs under Bell Partners; the property was sold to Tishman Speyer in October 2025.

On site there is a fenced bark park, listed on their own amenity pages, with walking paths nearby.

The pet numbers come with a caveat. Their current website only says the community is pet-friendly. The pet policy page it carried until the 2025 sale allowed two pets of up to 75 pounds each, a $500 fee for the first pet and $250 for the second, and $25 a month per pet.

That page also listed the breeds they would not accept unless the dog is an assistance animal: Akita, Alaskan Malamute, American Staffordshire Terrier, Bull Terrier, Chow, Doberman Pinscher, German Shepherd, Great Dane, Husky, Pit Bull, Rottweiler, Beauceron, Belgian Malinois and St. Bernard, and mixes of them.

We could not confirm whether these terms survived the change of owner. Ask the office for the current pet policy in writing before you apply.
