TLC has been on North Dixie Highway since 1978, opposite Healthy Pets Boca North.
They publish four different ways to be seen, which is unusually clear: a booked appointment a week or two out, a work-in for today or tomorrow, a drop-off where you leave your dog between 7:30 and 11 am and collect around 4 or 5, and a walk-in emergency.
The walk-in emergency is worth reading properly. During opening hours you simply drive in. Phone on the way so they can have a catheter or oxygen ready, and they will meet you at the car in the car park. There is a separate fee for an unscheduled emergency exam, and they say so upfront.
Overnight they refer to Palm Beach Veterinary Specialists in West Palm Beach and to Veterinary Emergency Group in Boynton Beach. They are not a 24 hour hospital.
Surgery, dentistry, x-ray, ultrasound, in-house laboratory, allergy testing, dermatology, laser therapy, and federally accredited health certificates for travel inside the United States.
