Julie has been grooming since 1999 and learned traditional hand scissoring from a mentor who had run six salons since the 1960s. That is the whole proposition here: breed shape and finish done with scissors rather than a blade.
The part that matters practically is that she takes one animal at a time. Appointments do not overlap, she works alone, and the person you speak to is the person who cuts. If your dog finds a busy salon hard, this is the different kind of place.
Cats are taken as well, with a full groom, a mini groom, a bath, nails, ears or a local shave. Shampoos run organic, hypoallergenic, medicated and flea. Anaesthesia-free teeth cleaning happens on site through a visiting partner.
New clients get an organic lavender and oatmeal shampoo and a teeth cleaning included with a full groom.
